Jack has a degree in Electrical Engineering and was a PhD candidate at MIT. Jack has founded several companies, most notably Verance Corp. which developed and patented audio watermarking for the protection of online music. Verance became a standard in for Digital Rights Management, adopted by the RIAA. Jack holds patents in the fields of chip design, user authentication, steganography, quantum resistant encryption and secure supply chain management.
